Brimley Baseball competes at Posen Invitational

POSEN — Brimley's Varsity Baseball team took the runner-up spot at the Posen Invitational, downing Ellsworth 13-1.

Hitting for the Bays were Frank St. George with an RBI and a stolen base, Steve Robbins hit a 3-run home run as well as a double, and Jeff Graham had a hit, three RBI and two stolen bases.

Derek Beseau struck out four and walked one batter.

Brimley fell to Harbor Light Christian 5-4 in the championship game, although they were ahead after their last at bat.

St. George had two hits, Robbins had two hits and a stolen base, Derek Parish had two hits and an RBI, Joel Amo had a hit and an RBI, Joe Quinn had two hits, two RBI and a stolen base, and Beseau had a hit and two stolen bases.
