
When members of DaimlerChrysler's Native American Employee Resource Group expressed a concern that Natives were under-represented in the work force, they had no idea that Chief Operating Officer (COO) Thomas LaSorda would acknowledge their concern firsthand.
When the group asked LaSorda if he would be interested in touring a Native community and speaking with Native leaders in an attempt to bridge the cultural gap, the COO heartily welcomed the opportunity.
