Traveling Vietnam memorial displayed at Big Bear Arena



SAULT STE. MARIE - "The Moving Wall," a half-size replica of the Washington, D.C., Vietnam Veterans Memorial, is currently on display at Big Bear Arena until July 17, giving locals the opportunity to pay their respects to those who served in the Vietnam War. Created in 1982, The Moving Wall has been traveling the country for more than 20 years. [more]

"The Moving Wall" lists names of all soldiers who perished or were missing in action during the Vietnam War. The structure, designed to bring the experience of the Washington, D.C., memorial to towns across the country, spans 252-feet in length and has been touring for more than 20 years.

Superior Township won against Bay Mills Township, Dafter Township and a mixed team of Bay Mills and Superior Township firefighters.
