Traveling Vietnam memorial displayed at Big Bear Arena

"The Moving Wall," a half-size replica of the Washington, D.C., Vietnam Veterans Memorial, is currently on display at Big Bear Arena until July 17, giving locals the opportunity to pay their respects to those who served in the Vietnam War. [more]



BMRC to feature slot machine changes

The Bay Mills Resort and Casino (BMRC) is about to get a lot quieter. On July 18, 400 slot machines will have full ticket-in-ticket-out (TITO) capabilities, which in effect, means that 400 machines will not be noisily spitting out metal tokens into a metal hopper. [more]

Teeple pleads guilty to voluntary manslaughter
