Bay Mills receives printer donation from Dell, Inc.



BAY MILLS - Various organizations throughout Chippewa County now have their own computer printing capabilities as the tribe received 629 refurbished 3-in-1 computer printers on behalf of Dell, Inc., and Gifts in Kind International on Wednesday, Aug. 17. The printers are being distributed to schools and local organizations that previously qualified for them based upon a status of nonprofit.

Bay Mills Community College received a grant of 629 printers from Dell, Inc.     LINCOLN, Neb. - The Native American Journalists Association held its 22nd annual conference in Lincoln, Neb., Aug. 11 to 15. This year's theme was "A Free Press: A Free People."
    Over 200 Native American journalists, editors and students attended workshops on page layout and design; the rights, responsibilities, skills and traditions of a free press; ethical and cultural considerations covering Native communities; ethics and standards; covering business news; and other classes about responsibilities of a free press.
