North Country Trail Hike: Saturday, Oct. 1, 1 to 3 p.m. (easy to moderate) - join North Country Trail member Jerry Keeney, and Conservancy staff as we hike into the backcountry on this national trail. Pigeon River Wilderness Walk: Wednesday, Oct. 5, 5:30 p.m. (easy to moderate) - enjoy the beautiful fall colors as we explore the Pigeon River wilderness. Conservancy land protection specialist Ty Ratliff and DNR staff will lead this hike through the heart of elk country. Please be prepared for this hour-long hike with sturdy shoes, water, and appropriate clothing. Meet at Schultz's Marathon in Wolverine (east of Hwy. 75).

Round Island Point Fall Hike: Thursday, Oct. 6, 5 to 6:30 p.m. (easy to moderate) - come see the new trails of Round Island Point with naturalist Kristin Majkrzak and stewardship specialist Cindy Mom. If Mother Nature permits, this may prove to be one of the most spectacular times of the year to view this wonderful property.
