BAY MILLS - More than 400 tribal members came out to the polls for the Bay Mills Indian Community's Primary Election, held Oct. 19, at the Armella B. Parker Senior Center. The top two vote getters from each position will square off in the General Election to be held Nov. 2. [more]

Dawn Terrell signs in to cast her vote at the Bay Mills Primary Election, held Wednesday, Oct. 19, at the senior center. Election Committee members were on-hand from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m., to monitor the election process and assist tribal members in casting their ballots. BAY MILLS - Leaders and representatives from Bay Mills Community College's 32 charter schools gathered at Horizons Conference Center on Oct. 10 and 11, to address issues facing their schools and staff. Bay Mills Community College receives $2 million for "West Campus" construction

BAY MILLS - Bay Mills Community College recently received $2 million in grant monies for the development of a 12,750 square-foot learning center on the 73-acre property dubbed "West Campus" by BMCC students and faculty. Upon completion of the new facility, the older building, currently called the BMCC Cultural Lodge and Learning Center and formerly known as the Iroquois Inn, will be reduced to rubble and removed from the site.
