Carrick bags his first buck
BAY MILLS - Each year on Nov. 15, since he was 16 years old, Michael Carrick, Sr., has walked the woods of Raco, 30-30 Winchester in tow, searching for the ever-elusive whitetail deer. While he has seen many big bucks in his day hanging at the Carrick Deer Camp he has been attending with his family since 1971, he has never been able to call one of them his own. [more]

Newspaper to make changes in coming year

Look for some changes soon in Bay Mills News. The newspaper was recently made a part of the communications department and staff are looking at making some design innovations and refocusing on an emphasis on local news and photos. [more]

Bay Mills Police Department struck again by vandals

BAY MILLS - Sometime between the hours of 4 and 5 a.m., early Sunday morning, Nov. 20, vandals attacked the Bay Mills Police Department. An unknown individual or individuals slashed the tires of a police cruiser, as well as several BMPD employees' personal vehicles. [more]
