Healthy Start hosts annual Baby Celebration
The Bay Mills Healthy Start Program hosted its 7th annual Baby Celebration on Friday, Jan. 20 at the Armella Parker Senior Center to welcome the newest members to the community.

Healthy Start is a grant funded program for prenatal mothers and children up to 2 years of age that encourages mothers to get off to a "healthy start" as a parent. Healthy Start nurses visit expectant mothers in their homes, providing instruction and information on the benefits of a lifestyle that is drug, alcohol and tobacco free.
