Brimley Elementary School has announced the following students are being recognized as Students of the Month for February 2006. The following comments were provided by their teachers.
Delaney Walden brings sunshine to our room with her contagious smile and energy. Even though some of the things we do in class are hard for her, she tries hard to do her best and does not give up. She is well liked by her peers and adults alike. She comes to class prepared and ready to work. She is an excellent role model and a real asset to our classroom. - Mrs. VerStrate
Cindy Teeple is very kind and considerate to others. She works hard on everything she is given and strives to do her best. Cindy always has a bright smile to share with everyone around her. Her disposition, behavior, and work ethics make her a great student to have in our class, - Mrs. Gross/Mrs. Hill
Allison Lounds is always pleasant with a great smile. She is helpful and considerate of others and a hard worker. - Mrs. Ellis
Michael Gordier has shown great academic progress this month. He is a very consistent student who shows responsibility for his studies and a great care towards his classmates. Michael is a very happy young man who is popular among his peers and always willing to help out. - Mrs. Hoffman/Mr. Lee
Jada Blakely comes in every day ready to go to work and do the best she can. She is very polite in reminding other students what they should be doing and is always willing to help others. - Miss Schexnayder
Abigail Lounds is a new student at our school this year and we're so glad to have her! She is a very pleasant girl, always smiling. Abigail is a hard worker and always does her best. She is respectful of others and uses good manners. - Mrs. Smith
Laci LeBlanc has a quiet, gentle manner and is very friendly and polite to everyone. She leads by example in our class. She does this by going above and beyond what is asked for on assignments. Laci also leads by her behavior and attitude. - Mrs. Carrick/Mrs. Morgan
Megan Pattison is both kind and courteous to her classmates and the Brimley staff. She finishes her work on time and does well academically. She is very helpful and always willing to lend a helping hand. - Mrs. Osborne
Marianne Keim is kind and considerate to all her classmates and always does a great job in class and at all special classes and events. - Mrs. Teeple
Anna Carrick is always willing to help others and do extra tasks that help our classroom to be a better place. I appreciate Anna's consideration of others and her ability to work with others. She is a conscientious and responsible student. - Mrs. Hope
Elizabeth Krause is a quiet, responsible student. She works hard on her assignments and always tries her best. She turns in her work on time and it is always neatly done. Elizabeth is also respectful of her teacher and her classmates. She is helpful and is a good role model for others in her class to follow. - Mrs. Hutchins
Jacob MacMaster is an exceptionally nice person who always treats his classmates with good humor and respect. He works very well with other students when put into small group activities and seems to enjoy himself in a very appropriate manner. - Ms. Stanaway
