Pennies for P.R.I.D.E

Pennies for P.R.I.D.E

As I'm sure everyone knows around our community the Boys & Girls Club of Bay Mills has put together a drum group Aabiizii (a.k.a. P.R.I.D.E) back in May of 2005. We were doing some traveling over the past months and have become very well known around the state of Michigan. We have been invited to attend several pow wows and ceremonies but as everyone knows traveling, eating, lodging etc. especially with almost 70 members involved and more joining in every week can cost a pretty good chunk of change. So we ask that you the community help us out by donating your spare change into the change buckets that are going to be around the community soon. A little change can go a long way. We love to travel and attend these things but can't do it without a little zhoonyaa (money). Please we ask that you help our traditions to keep going strong and our heritage ALIVE.

Sincerely,
Amanda Teeple
