WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS- Above, are the 1962 Michigan state finals runner-up Brimley Bays. CJIC-TV, a Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario television station, invited the Bays squad across the river to discuss their winning season. The team was led by the late Jack Brighton, who later went on to coach basketball at Michigan College of Mining and Technology - Sault branch, which eventually became Lake Superior State University.
