Maintain your brain workshop set for Monday, June 19

BRIMLEY - The public is invited to attend a presentation entitled "Maintain your brain: How to live a brain healthy lifestyle" on Monday, June 19 at 11 a.m. in the Armella Parker Memorial Elder Center, with a lunch to follow.

Janet Yoder, Program Coordinator of the Alzheimer's Association Upper Peninsula Region, will share information on the brain - how it works and changes with age; how the heart and brain are connected and how social connections and emotional health affects your brain.

This workshop is part of a national campaign to change the way Americans think about brain health. Participants will hear how to live "a brain healthy lifestyle." There is no charge for this program.
