Brimley Schools vote in favor of budget reductions

Brimley Area School Board took the first steps at reducing their deficit for the upcoming school year, voting in favor of more than $300,000 in budget reductions at their May 15 meeting. [more]



Ojibwe Charter School students enjoy field trip to local quarry

Brian Streichert's 7th and 8th Grade Culture class at the Ojibwe Charter School, along with Wanda Perron as their guide, explored a quarry near Trout Lake on Wednesday, May 10. The light drizzle did not stop this group of eager students from reaching the apex, but it did take teamwork. [more]
