Community celebrates 15th annual pow wow
This year's 15th Annual "Honoring our Veterans" Pow Wow featured nearly 200 dancers from across the United States and Canada.

In its second year as a competition pow wow the number of entries grew significantly. The Pow Wow Committee has already begun planning on making next year's event bigger and better, and, ultimately, to become known as the Midwest championship of song and dance.

Hundreds of bikers braved the cold and windy weather to participate in the Bay Mills Resort and Casinos "Thunderfest" and annual "Blessing of the Bikes."

Additional pow wow photos as well as results will be featured in the next issue of Bay Mills News. [more]
