Brimley Area Schools Students of the Month
The following students were selected as Students of the Month for May. Teachers made the following comments regarding these students:

Corinna Gravelle has really put forth 100 percent effort to improve her work habits and do well academically. She is always willing to help others and takes the lead in class. She does not allow others to lead her in making decisions. - Mrs. Rider

Emily Lounds is an energetic, friendly, and happy fourth grader. She is a true friend to her classmates. She is always willing to help those in need. She is a ray of sunshine in our class. - Mrs. Osborne

Autumn Aikens has been an upstanding student all year. She tries very hard to be the best student she can be, and I know I can always count on her to do the right things. - Mrs. Hoffman

Gordon Andrews' character has grown tremendously over the past few months. He has set many examples on fairness, sportsmanship, responsibility, respect, and, most importantly, tolerance of everyone, to his fellow classmates. He takes the initiative to help others and expects nothing in return. He is a great student and friend to everyone. - Miss Schexnayder

Holly Johnson is a hard worker who likes to do her best on every assignment. Holly always pays attention to lessons and follows directions the first time given. She is continually kind and considerate of others in our classroom and entire school. - Mrs. Gross/Hill

Darcey Parish works very hard and never gives up. If she doesn't understand something in her schoolwork, she always asks for help and figures out how to do it. Darcey is well behaved and is pleasant to be around. - Mrs. Smith

Melinda Wilson is an outstanding young lady who has been showing a lot of maturity and responsibility. Mindy has been putting forth an extra effort in her studies and making great choices in and out of the classroom. - Mrs. Teeple

Shelby Noyce is a great student who is a perfectionist. Shelby wants her work to be perfect, so she goes above and beyond what is asked of her. She is well liked by her peers and adults alike. She follows the classroom rules and reminds those around her to do the same. Shelby is an excellent role model and a real asset to our class. - Mrs. VerStrate
