SAULT STE. MARIE, Mich. - National Office Products and Printing, Inc. recently contributed over $3,700 to eight schools in the Tri-County area through scholarships aiding high school seniors aspiring toward a college education. Brimley High School awarded the scholarship to Heather Fegan, who graduated with a 3.4 GPA.
Fegan received a $500 scholarship toward her education at Lake Superior State University where she will major in computer engineering. During her high school career, Heather was active in the School Improvement Council, Key Club International, Youth Advisory Council, and National Honors Society. She also enjoys reading, photography and computers.
"It truly is a pleasure to help a student further their education and give back to the communities that have supported National Office Products," said Patrick Dougherty, president of the company.
Other recipients of the award from the area include James Cloudman of Sault Ste. Marie; Christina Smith of LaSalle; Leah Brant of Les Cheneaux; Kasey Nyberg of Pickford; Lisa Oberle of Rudyard; Jolene Barens and Samantha Masterson of Tahquamenon; and Nathan Niznik of DeTour Area Schools.
