July 6 to Aug. 10 - Every Thursday from July 6 to Aug. 10 Cup of the Day and Arfstrom Pharmacy will sponsor a Lunch Time Concert on the County Courthouse lawn from noon to 1 p.m. Scheduled performances are Ashley Stefanski on July 6; Dave O'Gorman on July 13; Second Wind on July 20; Sue Askwith and Dave Stanaway on July 27; George Snider and Dave Stanaway on Aug. 3; and Annis George on Aug. 10.

July 21 to 23 - "28th Annual Hiawatha Traditional Music Festival," held at the Tourist Park in Marquette, Mich. Advance tickets are available through July 18 at $45 for adults, $35 for teens and seniors, and $5 for children, by calling 906-226-8575, by visiting www.hiawathamusic.org, or by writing to P.O. Box 414, Marquette MI 49855. This year's lineup includes Garnet Rogers, the Mammals, Solazo, Cephas and Wiggins, Dale Ann Bradley, the Royal Garden Trio, the Jayla Ensemble with Mady Kouyate, the Wild Goose Chase Cloggers, Pat Madden and Sally Potter, teen dance bands Back Forty and Electric Porcupine, and outstanding Children's Area musicians.
