BAY MILLS - A tradition was restored this summer as Father Al Mott and Father Ted Brodeur instituted a Children's Bible Camp at Blessed Kateri Tekakwitha Catholic Church. The camp ran from Monday, June 19 to Thursday, June 22 from 9 a.m. to noon at the church.

About 25 children attended the camp, where they participated in both indoor and outdoor activities. Some of it was fun and games, said Father Ted, and some involved studying the Bible and the tenets of the Catholic faith. The children had a tremendous response to the sisters, he added, and the sisters in turn loved being with the kids.
