The Bay Mills News is published biweekly by the Bay Mills Indian Community, covering current events affecting the tribe, tribal government and business news, Anishnaabe culture & language, community and membership news.
The Bay Mills News has been in circulation since 1997, beginning as a simple monthly newsletter for the tribal community. Since that time, the Bay Mills News has grown to a full 4,000 circulation newspaper that distributes to a broad range of readers.
Bay Mills News is overseen by Bay Mills Communications Director Allyn Cameron. Editors Assistants Kalvin D. Perron, Shannon K. Jones and Sharlene Myers have the task of publishing the biweekly newspaper. The newspaper office is located in the Armella Parker Center on the Bay Mills Indian Community reservation, located near Brimley, Mich.
